Saturday 13th October

Tidy-up of churchyard and Marriott Green, from 10 a.m. Help needed, volunteers welcome. In case of rain, postponed till 20th.

Friday 19th October

Pub Night, Doors open 6.30 p.m. Village Hall. Pulled chicken rolls, salad £3.

Friday 26th October

Coffee morning, 10.30 a.m. - 12 noon. Village Hall. In aid of Marriott Green maintenance.

Movie Makers film show. 7.30 p.m. Village Hall. New films, archive films. Admission £5. Proceeds to  Marriott Green fund.

Saturday 27th October

The village is preparing for the Remembrance Day service on Sunday November 11th, which will be held outside the War Memorial at 10.45 a.m. So that it looks at its best, help is needed to tidy it up. Please come along on Saturday October 27th at 10.00 a.m. for an hour of gardening.

Sunday 28th October

Halloween Party. 4.30 p.m. Meet at Village Hall. Disco, juice and crisps. Trick or Treat round the village. Dress spookily.

Sunday 11th November

To mark the centenary of the Armistice, the village is proud to remember the men from East Farndon who fought in World War 1, particularly the 7 men who lost their lives. A service of remembrance, led by Revd. James Watson, will be held in front of the War Memorial on Main Street at 10.45 a.m. on Sunday November 11th. (This is instead of the normal church service). Afterwards, everyone is welcome at the village hall for tea and coffee, where family mementos from Word War 1 will be displayed. Please feel free to bring along anything you would like to share.

Rachele of Racheleyoga. Monday evenings 6.30-7.30 p.m.

Two Breaths More Hatha Yoga. Sundays 6.00 - 7.30 p.m.
