Church Services in October

October 6th, 6 p.m. Evening Worship

Saturday 5th October

Churchyard tidy-up. From 10 a.m. weather permitting. Volunteers of all ages welcome.


Tuesday 8th October

Parish Council meeting. Village Hall. 7.45 p.m.


Saturday 12th October

Peal of the church bells. 3 to 6 p.m. To mark 70th anniversary of the first peal at Farndon.


Friday 18th October

'Pub Night'. Village Hall, from 6 p.m. Beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks. Chilli con Carne and  non-chilli  and vegetarian options available at £3 each. Please come, families welcome.


Friday 25th October

Coffee morning. Village Hall, 10.30 - 12 noon.


Sunday November 10th


12 midday.  Ceremony to rededicate the beech tree on the village green. The beech tree at the top of the village (on the green near the church) was planted by East Farndon Women's Institute on 14th November 1937 to commemorate the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. It has been decided to place a plaque at the base of the tree so that this information is passed on to future generations. A short ceremony will take place after the church service, with a blessing by Rev James Watson.

Rachele of Racheleyoga. Monday evenings 6.30-7.30 p.m.

Two Breaths More Hatha Yoga. Sundays 6.00 - 7.30 p.m.
