East Farndon Village

Welcome to the village website of East Farndon, Northamptonshire

East Farndon, Northamptonshire, is a village of about 300 inhabitants and is situated close to the Leicestershire border and the town of Market Harborough. It has a long history - longer than Market Harborough!

This site is operated on behalf of the people and various organisations within the village. In a small village, most societies, charities and other bodies are too small for each to have its own website, so this one serves as many as it can.

This website aims to keep everyone informed of news and activities within the village. It also helps to preserve some of the village's history and to be a useful resource for anyone, anywhere in the world, who might have an interest in or connection with East Farndon. The 'Village Tour' pages contain information about buildings and other locations within the parish.

VE-Day 75th Anniversary

Some insight into our village during World War II is on the Village History pages. Go to 'Village History' and then 'World War II'.
